Combine Text from Two Cells in Excel
The ampersand
=A2&" "&B2
Put a space (or any separator) in quotes between the cells.
CONCAT
=CONCAT(A2," ",B2)
TEXTJOIN for many cells
=TEXTJOIN(", ", TRUE, A2:D2)
The TRUE skips empty cells, so you don't get doubled commas.
Joining numbers and dates
Use TEXT to keep the formatting: ="Due "&TEXT(B2,"mmm d").
