IF Function Practice
IF returns one value when a test is true and another when it's false. It shows up on nearly every Excel interview test.
Syntax
=IF(logical_test, value_if_true, value_if_false)
Text results need quotes: "Yes". Numbers don't.
Practice
Going further
Multiple conditions: =IF(AND(D2>10, E2>5000), "Bonus", "")
Several outcomes: =IFS(E2>=7000,"A", E2>=5000,"B", TRUE,"C") reads more cleanly than nested IFs.
